Certain numbers tell you exactly which lessons you need to learn in this lifetime ... find out which numbers they are and what their message holds here: The Karmic Debt Numbers +

The Pinnacles are four long-term cycles on your life's path, with each Pinnacle representing a particular lesson you are working on at any given time. The first Pinnacle lasts from birth to between the ages of 27 and 35 (depending on your Life Path number), the middle two Pinnacles each last 9 years, and the last Pinnacle will stay with you for the remainder of your life.

These Pinnacle cycles are very important, and the transition from one Pinnacle to the next is always strongly felt. Your Pinnacles reveal the general conditions and events you will experience during the period, describing the atmosphere or essential challenge you will be faced with.

You can prepare yourself for the times ahead by knowing your approaching Pinnacle cycle number. The transition from one Pinnacle to the next is usually prepared for approximately two years in advance. The latter part of that two-year period is particularly strong. You will likely make some life-altering decisions -- marriage, job or career change, or any number of major changes in your character.

Perhaps the most strongly felt change -- internally as well as externally -- is the transition from the first to the second Pinnacle. This change usually takes place in your late 20s or early 30s; the exact date depends on your Life Path number. This is usually a difficult transition, but once crossed, it usually provides a clear sense of direction in one's life. It also gives you a much firmer sense of your identity ... it is a gateway to maturity.

So, when will you change Pinnacle cycles? The answer is below. All you need to know is your Life Path number.

### Now that you know when your Pinnacle cycles are ... it's time to find out what your Pinnacle numbers are.

So, how do you determine what your Pinnacle cycle numbers are? It's actually fairly easy, as you'll see. All you need to do is write out your birth date in numeric shorthand; so someone born on March 12, 1980, for instance, would write out 3/12/1980 and reduce each component to a single-digit number or a Master number -- Master numbers are not reduced when working with Pinnacle cycles. Finally, simply use the formulas below, and reduce the results to get your Pinnacle cycle numbers.

First Pinnacle cycle number: Month + Date

Second Pinnacle Cycle number: Date + Year

Third Pinnacle cycle number: Pinnacle cycle number 1 + Pinnacle cycle number 2

Fourth Pinnacle cycle number: Month + Year

For a quick summary of what you can expect within each of your Pinnacle Cycle Numbers, reference the list to the right.

As an example of how this all works out, let's take a look the birthdate mentioned above: 3/12/1980. This person's First Pinnacle cycle number would be 3 (for the third month) + 3 (for the 12th day, since 1 + 2 = 3) = 6.

This person's Second Pinnacle cycle number would be 3 (again, for the date of the 12th) + 9 (for the year, since 1 + 9 + 8 + 0 = 18, and 1 + 8 = 9) = 12, which further reduces to 3.

This person's Third Pinnacle cycle number would be the sum of the previous two numbers, which is 9.

This person's Fourth Pinnacle cycle number would be the reduced sum of the numbers of her birth month and birth year: 3 + 9 = 3. In addition to being represented twice, the number 3 is a running theme in this person's Pinnacle cycle numbers: all of these Pinnacle cycle numbers are divisible by 3!

As you can see, if you look closely enough, you will begin to find patterns all around you ... and even within you.
