Here at Numerology.com, we're all about numbers and patterns. And hey, it turns out we're not the only ones! FOX recently previewed its brand-new show Touch, starring Kiefer Sutherland, and it's right up our alley.
Numbers and patterns provide insight into ourselves and the world around us -- insight that is always around us, yet many of us don't pause long enough to really absorb this knowledge and the messages that are out there. Every day we work to bring you the latest in Numerology, and we're thrilled that this concept is hitting the mainstream through Touch. If you are a fan of numbers and patterns, if you believe that everything happens for a reason, if you're fascinated by the concepts of time, repeating numbers, and the impact each person's second-by-second actions have on countless other people and events in the world, this will be right up your alley, too.
Interconnectivity, numbers and patterns are the foundation of this inspired new series, scheduled to officially premiere in March 2012 (Monday, March 19, to be exact). Focusing on Sutherland's character, Martin, we see him struggle to relate to his 11-year-old son, Jake, who's never spoken a single word and will not allow any physical human contact. It's unclear exactly what Jake is dealing with -- Autism and mutism were both considered in this preview episode -- but it's very clear that he has been blessed with great understanding, with the ability to see the world and its intricate patterns in ways no one else does -- ways that enable him to predict future events, yet he remains unable to communicate his brilliant knowledge. Martin has now committed himself to understanding Jake's messages, but ... we'll have to wait until spring to see how it all starts coming together!
